The road to health.

Called my boss this morning: won't be able to make it to work once again. Am still sick. According to Jeff, bronchitis or pneumonia has made its way to my body, and it won't give me a break. Am quitte pissed off, not because of the pain, but because I was going to have three lovely houseguests this weekend. I had to call the whole thing off, and really, i'm trying not to be bitter about it. I now have a house, and it's great to finally be able to invite people over, and feed them fondue, and refill their wine glasses. I now have a fridge full of smelly cheese and pinot gris, and it will just have to sit there until I get better.

Since january 1st, I have worked a total of 2.5 days. It's a bit hard to blog when typically the main dilemna i'm faced with is whether I should read Carol Shields or Nick Hornby before lunch. Plus, the veins on my forehead are throbbing, so any attempt at creative writing will only yield mediocre results.

I'm am now anxious to get back into the real world and:
-invite people over for decadent dinners
-skate on the canal and eat a beavertail halfway down to Dows lake
-work, be useful to society
-go down a hill on a crazy carpet
-enjoy having energy to walk up a flight of stairs
