The ideal november day

This is one of these days. Outside, ice pellets mixed with cold rain makes for a very depressing paysage, and the clouds are so thick that it is almost completely dark at 3:30 pm. I have to cycle home in this mess.

I seriously wish I had a day like this one tomorrow:

09:00 Wake up
09:10 Leisurely walk myself to the WheatBerry on Main Street to buy coffee beans and the Globe.
10:00 Breakfast, read paper.
11:30 Putter about, check email, talk on phone with mom, navel gazing, “housework”.
13:00 Heat leftovers in microwave, flip pages of Ikea catalogue.
14:00 Walk to Bridgehead, order coffee and scone and read David Sedaris.
15:00 Walk around the Experimental Farm, on cow lane.
16:00 Nerves shattered by exercise, rush home to lie in bed
16:15 Watch Dr Phil in bed. Take notes.
17:30 Dinner consisting of peanut butter toast and orange juice, my favorite.
18:00 “Wash” dishes.
19:30 Have glass of wine with Jeff.
20:00 Watch Dr. Who, trying to decipher what the characters are saying
21:00 More reading
22:00 Bed

Maybe I just need a vacation.

Wow. I did not know that.
I often disagree with him, especially when he regards single people as social pariahs.
But I like the way he kicks people's ass.

"As if one Phil McGraw wasn't enough, out squirts Jay McGraw, Dr. Phil's son -- ready, willing and able to step up and get real about piggybacking on the success of his dad."
